Hetalia - Wipeout: Part 13 - Romano

"Up to run we have Italy's older brother, Romano. He looks like a nice guy" Henson said, as they looked to the Italian standing next to Jill. He had a scowl on his face with his arms crossed. "So Romano, the times are pretty close now, do you think you can get into the next round?"

He scoffed and said, "I don't care about his stupid American show. I was dragged here so I could care less about my time." Romano then spun away and went to go get himself up on the starting platform. Anderson chuckled and said, "Charming isn't he?"

The signal went off and Romano ran down the ramp, surprisingly slipping halfway down and sliding into the water. He got up and climbed onto the floating platforms, making his way to the Topple Towers. "This is so stupid, I'm sure it isn't even that hard to get across."

Romano took a step and before he knew it, he got a face full of mud. "Dammit!" he shouted as he waddled out of the mud and towards the next few towers. The next try wasn't any better, seeing as he again fell on the first tower.

After climbing out of the pool, Romano stumbled over to the Sucker Punch Wall, cursing under his breath. He wasn't impressed when he reached the wall. "You expect me to walk across this, you bastards!?" Romano didn't get an answer, so he cursed one more time before grabbing onto the wall and making his way across. But a glove shot out and smacked into his arm, causing him to let go and loose his balance. "No no no!" The southern Italian went falling back into the mud, once again. "*BEEP*"

"Hey!" Henson said, "Watch you language there, there are children watching!"

Romano made his way up to the Big Balls, not exactly feeling too good at the moment. He scowled as he looked at the obstacles before him. "I'll go one at a time. I don't feel like being bounced around." Romano stood at the edge of the platform so the tips of his boots were hanging over, and then jumped so he would land on his belly on the first ball. He didn't count for going too far and ended up bouncing forward and into the second ball, and then falling head-first into the water. "Dammit!"

After a long swim to the Cookie Cutter Swing, Romano was pissed. He was done with this course, but he knew that if he gave up, he would be looked down on as a weak country. "Let's hurry up with this already."

He grabbed the rope swing and looked at his target as if it were dirt compared to him. He took the jump and shouted, "Chigi!" as he swung into the cutout man, but didn't let go in time to get through to the other side. Instead he swung all the way back. "You have to let go of the rope!" Jill shouted from the side.

Romano listened and let go of the rope far away from the finish platform. "Wow, where have we seen this?" Anderson said to John Henson. "Yeah, seems like they are a close."

Once Romano finally reached the finish platform, he was wet, sore, and pissed off. "This is such a stupid game! Who comes up with this sort of thing!? I could have died!" Romano went of ranting as he swam to shore where both Jill and Spain waited for him. "You did good Roma, would you like a tomato?"

Romano climbed to his feet and crossed his arms. "Yes I would you bastard." Romano took the ripe tomato and began chowing down on it as he walked away. "Wait, don't you want to hear what your time is?" Jill called out to him. "Why would I care!?"

Spain smiled and said, "He's always like this. I'll go cheer him up." Spain ran next to Romano and began opening and closing his arms while saying, "Fusosososo~" until Romano had stopped ranting.

"Well, I'm not sure if Romano is still in the game or not," Henson said, "but I don't think it matters since he got a time of six minutes and eight seconds. So that means Austria still has a chance. A very small chance."

Anderson nodded. "Well, let's meet our next competing country."
